Lettre de Truffaut à Hitchcock sur le Hitchbook

Belle lettre de François Truffaut, adressée à Alfred Hitchcock, dans un anglais balbutiant, relative au Hitchbook. Corrections discrètes au crayon à papier.

I will write to you in english my self because Helen Scott stay in city of Grasse (short distance of Cannes) for to loose many kilogrammes at the Doctor Pathé Clinic. This sojourns very important for her, says the doctors. How find the english version of the Hitchbook ? Personnaly I am very happy with it because I think it is better than french version, stills biggers and most beautifuls and so the "mise en page". Do you think so ? I saw a marvellous, two marvellous papers about it. 1° in the N.Y. Times 2° In the literary supplément of Sunday N.Y.T. Bride wore black is finished. François Truffaut fit paraître en 1966, aux éditions Robert Laffont, un ouvrage intitulé Hitchcock/Truffaut, ou Le Cinéma selon Alfred Hitchcock, surnommé le « Hitchbook ». Il contenait un long entretien entre Alfred Hitchcock et lui-même.
