Jolie lettre fragmentaire du célèbre chimiste Joseph Priestley :
"I rejoice to hear that you are well, and in such good spirits, after your comfirement. I often wish that you, and many other of my friends, where in this pleasant and quiet place. Except that I want a readier communication with Europe, which place with [?]ring, I have here everything that I wish for in this world, and, that is very pleasant, I see everything improving about me, and [?] to do 10 for many years to come. And I fear it will much otherwise with you. With very good wish [...]".
