"Prince d'Arenberg's most kind letter has just been shown me & I am very much touched by what he says in it. It would I assure you have given the Princess & myself the greatest pleasure to accept his kind invitation had it been possible. But I regret that we are unable to do so, as other arrangements have been made for some little time since & I fear it would cause great inconvenience [...]".
